Before anyone uses AI
- We checked the app's privacy settings and opted out of training where possible.
- Everyone knows: AI can sound sure and still be wrong.
- Kids know to ask a grown-up before trying a new AI app or chatbot.
The never-share list memorize
- Full names — ours or anyone's
- Home address or school name
- Photos or videos of kids
- Passwords, login codes, security answers
- Money and account details
- Medical details
- Location and daily routines
Healthy habits
- AI helps with homework — it never does homework.
- Big facts get checked in a second source.
- We talk about what we made with AI — out loud, together.
- We practice spotting fakes: cloned voices, fake images, too-perfect reviews.
If something goes wrong
- Scary or weird AI message → tell a grown-up right away.
- "Emergency" call or voicemail → hang up, call back on a known number.
- Shared something by mistake → tell a grown-up; check the app's data-deletion options together.
